Apostle Dr. Amb. Obekpa Joseph Great
Apostle Dr. Amb. Obekpa Joseph Ali is a seasoned servant of God, theologian, and passionate minister with over 45 years of impactful service in advancing the kingdom of God. As the founder and leader of Great Jesus Chapel Ministries Int’l and the Gospel Ministers Integrity Development Initiative (GOMIDI), he has devoted his life to raising godly leaders and spreading the gospel across nations.
His academic journey began at LGA Primary School, Abo, and continued through esteemed institutions including Emmanuel College of Theology, ABU, Ambrose Ali University, and Dominion School of Ministry. This strong theological foundation has shaped his ministry, deepening his passion for teaching, discipleship, and integrity in the body of Christ.
Apostle Obekpa is not only a preacher but a visionary leader, recognized both locally and internationally. He once served as the PFN Karu Ward Chairman and holds several prestigious honors, including Ambassador of Teachers Without Borders and Ambassador of the Universal Peace Federation. His ministry has touched lives across Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Rwanda, and Zambia, among others.
An accomplished author, his book Integrity Lifestyle reflects his lifelong commitment to godly living. He is also known for leading Bible studies, theological seminars, and mentoring upcoming ministers. Apostle Obekpa is joyfully married to Pastor Mrs. Ene Obekpa and is a proud father of five children—four of whom are ordained ministers, continuing his legacy of faith.
